Every show is compiled by a different DJ, so there is a large variety of electronic music in
every style imaginable played on Musique Non Suck. Each DJ has their own history in
music in some form or another... The majority of us are artists ourselves which tends to
aid in the knowledge of what has been, is, & will be in the electronic music scene... We
cannot however, find or play it all... We are always excited to get tips from listeners,
music or links to downloads from musicians/bands and any other feedback our listeners
may have... You may contact us individually if an email address is offered by the DJ or
contact can be made via the general address titled 'contact' to the left...

Want to meet the DJs? Find them all below...

Thank you for listening...
Meet the DJs : Musique Non Suck
LilStar is predominately an artist & photographer, though she has been involved in music for
the past 13 years via the local scene, 216 Productions, internet radio & music
appreciation/history. She adores every genre/style/taste of music... In regards to Musique
Non Suck: "I love electronic music because it incorporates every emotion available in the
human experience... It challenges genre... It challenges the "rules" of music. It can be
anything you need it to be... It can be purely the beat you dance to or
a specific reflection of
what you are feeling...

Jez's ears were first opened to the wonders of electronic music when he heard 'Space's',
'Magic Fly' and 'Jean Michelle Jarre's, 'Oxygene' way back in those dark days that were the
70's. A few years later came the avalanche of New Wave electronic bands, with 'Depeche
Mode', 'Landscape', 'The Human League' and 'Soft Cell'...all making their presence felt. The
journey continued through the 80's, 90's and into today. Jez's current project, 'N.S.J.' can be
found at http://www.myspace.com/newsoundofjez... He also has a collaboration titled 'The
Bik-Jez Corporation' which can be heard at http://www.myspace.com/thebikjezcorporation...

Marsh first heard electronic music in the early 1980's though he had been involved with music
history & piano since a very young age. In bands like Abba, Marsh heard the Prophet and PPG
buzzing. His world which evolved into bleeps and swooshes quickly opened up with the likes of
Thomas Dolby, Yazoo, He Said, Fad Gadget, Etc. Now a dedicated studio owner and engineer, Marsh
also writes and plays in several musical projects. Embracing all forms of musical expression,
electronic music remains a genre that is near and dear to his heart. "I like doing the radio shows
very much. It allows me to expose the listeners to some gems from my vault, and also leads me to
seek out new artists...to see what the new pioneers are doing"...

When Bik heard Kraftwerks 'Man Machine' on his mums old gramophone he realised that
there was so much more out there. Listening to Landscape's 'Einstein A Go Go' and
Ultravox's 'Vienna' at his mate's house only served to intensify the need to hear more...and
there was
so much more... Soon after becoming an avid collector of electronic music there
followed years of buying and selling different pieces of electronic music equipment for
making Bik's own music. His most recent project is presented at
http://www.myspace.com/theworldofbik...

Cutting his teeth on Eno and Kraftwerk, Mox has been involved in music for close to 25
years. He was there when synthesizers went mainstream and when they went
underground again. Now a project studio owner and consummate player of both
electronics and guitar, Mox continues to push the envelope of what can be done with
musical expression. He enjoys the Daniel Miller (founder of Mute Records) quote: "It's
easier than ever to make good electronic music, but it's as hard as it ever was to make
great electronic music"
