The Conversation
Download.com Editor's Review: "The electronic experimental synthesis of Angel Dust
216 speaks the language of life in the late 20th century, a time during which bandmates
Mox and Marsh were growing up listening to electronic legends like Autechre and
Kraftwerk. Melding an industrial-robotic punk lyricism with heavy synth-pop tendencies,
they pay homage to the mothers and fathers of IDM and electronic music."
German Radio Station  Electrophil, Radio Z- 98.5 "Beautiful Electro, How Kraftwerk
would have sounded today"...

Angel Dust 216
Angel Dust 216's last release is the experiment 'Maskatron'.  A beautiful mix of styles
ranging from Detroit Techno to Glitch Experimental, though most pronounced are the
1950's science fiction elements that take center stage in 'Nutone' & 'The Conversation'.
"This textured release is guaranteed to be a feast for the ears".

Already having been called "a modern classic", this album shows Angel Dust 216
tapping into many of their major influences. "Melding an industrial robotic punk lyricism
with heavy 50's inspired synth-pop tendencies", you will quickly hear the breadth and
depth of variety this album provides.

'Maskatron',  features nine new  tracks plus 'Future Tense' & 'Telecom' from the E.P.
'Future Tense'. It will be available at Tower Records.com, CD Baby and many other
online retailers.

Band Bio: Angel Dust 216 began as most bands do - youths searching for a way to
express themselves while pushing the boundaries of everything around them. Growing
up in a perfect era of underground and new scenes, two young men gradually narrowed
their focus on one ever enchanting and continually growing genre: Electronic Music. So
wide in it's definition, Mox & Marsh eagerly took in some of the most cutting edge live
acts of the time...Fact 22, Dementia Precox, Lords of Acid, Evolution Control Committee,
Etc... Beginning in the raw and very experimental realm of analog synthesis, synthetic
voice, sound samples & everything in between, Angel Dust 216's sound began to evolve
with the quickly growing electronic scene. The control aspects of their productions
began with CV , gate, sync technology. As most young men do, Mox & Marsh aged &
widened their visions, all along their musical endeavors grew with them. Drawing in on
some larger more prominent artists such as Kraftwerk, Autechre & Aphex Twin, the
two came closer to their sound of today. Along with the growth of the genre, technology
takes a great hand in this evolution... Two boys, now two men. 20 years of growth within
one of the most prominent & amazingly complex musical genres to date. Mox & Marsh
pay homage to many... The Angel Dust 216 of today is one of many influences,
particularly  familiar to IDM. While carrying the love and knowledge of the core
elements of electronic composition, Mox & Marsh take full advantage of modern
technology & all it has to offer.
